Dr. Seuss Day volunteers read to kids at Monterey Road CDC

A volunteer  in a colorful hat, Cindy Rothstein, reads to children at the Monterey Road Child Development Center on the Ord Military Community on Monday, in celebration of Dr. Suess Day. March 2 was the birthday of Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss Day is now in its twelfth year as an annual nationwide reading celebration, "Read Across America," sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA).
