Army Reservist Honored by Miami Heat's HOMEStrong Program

Army Reserive Soldier SSG Halton Fuller is presented with Miami HEAT championship customized dog tags by NBA All-Star guard Dwayne Wade as part of the team\'s HOMEStrong Program. SSG Fuller serves with the 331st Minimal Care Detachment in Miami, FL. He deployed to Balad, Iraq in February 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He served with the 7/158th Aviation Brigade, which supported he XVIII Airborne Corps. The presentation took place at half court before the team took on the Cleveland Cavaliers at American Airlines Arena on Monday, March, 2, 2009. The dog tags are inscribed with a special message from NBA Hall of Famer and Heat President Pat Riley.
