CAMP ZAMA, JAPAN - On Sept. 30 2016, Medical Department Activity-Japan (MEDDAC-Japan) and the Navy's Branch Health Clinic-Atsugi (BHC-Atsugi) met for the second annual Army vs. Navy Sports Day hosted by MEDDAC-Japan at Camp Zama, Japan.
MEDDAC-Japan and the Naval BHC-Atsugi used this opportunity to strengthen their regional partnership through food, fun and friendly competition.
In the end, BHC-Atsugi retained the Sports Day trophy sweeping MEDDAC-J in competitions that included dodge ball, basketball, volleyball, water polo and a medical challenge.
In just two years, the annual sporting event has strengthened esprit de corps between these two medical communities and continues to solidify the Army-Navy healthcare partnership within the region.
