Congressional delegation views progress in northwest Baghdad

BAGHDAD - State Representative Glenn Thompson (left) R-Pa., listens to Brig Gen. BAGHDAD - Maj. Andy Attar (left), Joint Project Management officer in charge, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, briefs a delegation of congressional representatives at the Ameriya Solar-Powered Clinic in the Mansour district of northwest Baghdad Feb. 28.  As the JPMO, Attar oversaw the solar-powered project and visits the clinic on a regular basis to ensure the panels are providing the necessary power to provide critical care to the residents of Ameriya and surrounding communities.
