REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- Registration for the Army Materiel Command's fourth quarter Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry is now open.
The briefing will be hosted by the Aviation and Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal on Dec. 6-7 at the Sparkman Center's Bob Jones Auditorium.

The APBI will begin at 8 a.m. on Dec. 6 with opening comments from AMC and AMCOM leadership and will continue with two days of briefings focused on government contracting opportunities. There will be a No Host Social from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 6 at The Overlook on Redstone Arsenal.
AMC designates that each of its four Centers of Excellence -- AMCOM at Redstone along with the Tank and Automotive Command at Warren, Michigan; the Communications-Electronics Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; and the Army Sustainment Command/Joint Munitions Command at Rock Island Arsenal, Ill. -- host an installation-wide APBI once a year. APBI's are hosted once a quarter to bring industry together with AMC leaders to promote defense contracting opportunities that support Army interests, and to provide an open venue for collaboration and networking.
The theme for the Dec. 6-7 APBI is "Partnering for Optimized Readiness." Industry invitations to the event were sent to defense contractors through a FedBizOpps announcement from AMCOM commander Maj. Gen. Douglas Gabram.
