Mr. Tim Ah Young-Shelton, the 8th TSC's safety director, was recently recognized for his 35 years of combined federal service by the 8th TSC Command Team during a ceremony attended by the command's key staff. The event offered the chance for everyone to extend their gratitude for the critical role civilians play on Army staffs. Like Soldiers, civilians have a choice to serve, and they selflessly support the mission every day.

Ah Young-Shelton began his civilian career in 2003 and has served as the 8th TSC's safety director since 2013. While under his direction, the 8th TSC has suffered zero fatalities. Prior to his civilian career, Ah Young-Shelton served in the Marine Corps.
