Giving back, dozens of children at a time

FORT MCPHERSON, Ga. -- Toomer Elementary School students visited Fort McPherson Feb. 20 to meet Col. Deborah Grays, garrison commander, as part of a school liason office function. By taking a vested interest in area schools, the Fort McPherson community is helping to give back and improve the quality of its neighbors' lives, said Camellia Jefferson, the garrison's School Liaison Officer.
