On Feb. 10, Maj. Gen. Paul S. Izzo, commanding general, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, visited the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center in Natick, Mass. During the day, Izzo saw demonstrations and heard briefings on shelter technologies, joint precision aerial delivery systems, combat feeding, individual protection and biomechanics. In photo, Jean Hampel, Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center, demonstrates shelter airbeam technology. Izzo said it was a "great visit," and he was glad he took the time to come.
