CRANE, Ind -- Indiana Sen. Joe Donnelly visited Crane Army Ammunition Activity Aug. 23 in order to receive an update about the Activity's capabilities and future workload.
Col. James Hooper, CAAA commander, and Norman Thomas, CAAA deputy to the commander, updated Donnelly on CAAA's capabilities, workload, and initiatives to become more efficient, effective and represent best value in the years to come.
Donnelly also toured both a countermeasure flare production building and a complex of production facilities currently under renovation in order to highlight current and future workload for CAAA. The tour of the Army facilities was part of a larger visit to Naval Support Activity, Crane, that day.
