Soldiers assigned to the headquarters of U.S. Army Sustainment Command at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, joined other members of the military from the Arsenal and surrounding area in serving as honorary caddies for PGA tour golfers during the pro-am event of the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois, Aug. 10.

Under the PGA's "Birdies for the Brave" program, the Soldiers caddied at the 15th hole of the pro-am, held the day before tournament play began. The annual PGA event is held at the TPC at Deere Run course in Silvis, and is scheduled to conclude on Aug. 14.
