EDINBURGH, Scotland -- U.S. Army Europe Band and Chorus is representing the U.S. Army with daily performances at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which will last through Aug. 27, at the historic Edinburgh Castle.

The U.S. Army Europe Band & Chorus is scheduled to perform a six-minute marching drill during each iteration of the tattoo, Monday through Saturday each week. Each performance will feature a mix of classic popular American tunes and conclude with "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa.

The U.S. Army Europe Band and Chorus, which is headquartered in Sembach, Germany, will be performing alongside British military bands, Highland Dancers, the Jordanian Armed Forces Band and Drill Team, the Nepal Army Band, and the New Zealand Army Band.

Military tattoos are performances designed to connect a worldwide audiences with international military traditions, history, and esprit de corps. The Edinburgh Castle has been home to the military musical performances since 1950. In that time, it has hosted performers from nearly 50 countries from across six continents.
