FA40 Training Forum set for Aug. 8-12

PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colorado -- U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command, Army Space Personnel Development Office, is hosting the annual Functional Area 40 Training Forum Aug. 8-12 here.

The forum will focus on "Partnerships in Space" and include presentations from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard in addition to the Information Operations, Electronic Warfare, and Geospatial Intelligence communities.

Adm. Cecil D. Haney, commander, U.S. Strategic Command, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker on Aug. 11.

While the forum was developed for the FA40 community, ASPDO is opening registration to non-FA40 Space Cadre members for the sessions on Aug. 10-11.

In accordance with registration procedures, attendees will need to submit a visit access request, or VAR, or possess a Peterson Air Force Base badge.
