HAT YAO, Thailand, (Feb. 08, 2009) - A Landing Craft Air Cushion comes ashore transporting Marines and equipment from 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit during Exercise Cobra Gold 2009. The 31st MEU deployed from its Okinawa, Japan base of operations to participate in the annual bilateral exercise, which focuses on military interoperability training and strengthening the long-standing partnership between the Royal Thai and U.S. Armed Forces.
