ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. (May 24, 2016) -- The U.S Army Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T), with the Office of the Army Chief Information Officer/G-6, is hosting a mission command network industry forum at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. on June 22, to assist industry partners in identifying and aligning their efforts with Army network priorities.

Designed to provide industry a status update on the Army's network modernization plans and current status of PEO C3T portfolio efforts, the forum will assist industry in identifying and aligning efforts with Army network modernization priorities, address industry feedback on specific topics from recent engagements, and seek industry input on acquisition improvements and opportunities that exist within the tactical network portfolio.

"It is our hope that this session will enhance communication between the Government and our industry partners, enabling them to forge partnerships and respond quicker to critical emerging requirements," said Mr. Gary Martin, Program Executive Officer for C3T.

The Industry Forum will consist of two panels, which will provide industry representatives with a leadership overview from the CIO G6 concerning network readiness and modernization priorities, the status of PEO C3T programs, ongoing procurements, and the opportunity to request updates on specific procurements of interest in a question-and-answer format.

Panel one will include senior Army leaders that will discuss Army network imperatives, and will then be followed by a presentation outlining the status of the PEO C3T portfolio with a focus on tactical network enhancements. During the second panel, program officials will provide an update on contracting opportunities for the remainder of 2016, as well as an update on opportunities since the last APG APBI held in November 2015.

An official notice was posted on May 19, 2016 to the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) with registration instructions, which must be completed no later than June 15. Due to the size of the venue, registration is limited. While priority registration will be given to industry partners, the forum is also open to government employees and organizations that support network modernization.
