Fort Lee Soldiers punctuate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month event

FORT LEE, Va. (May 12, 2017) -- Members of the 832nd Ordnance Battalion perform a routine featuring Polynesian war cries during the Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration May 6 at the Lee Theater. The event featured a variety of performances that highlighted countries such as China, Vietnam, New Zealand and India. It also honored the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, a Japanese-American Army unit that persevered to prove their honor despite prejudice.
