Spc. Christopher James, a 14E Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator Maintainer, was selected as the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command's Soldier of the Week for 09 to 13 May 2016.
Over the past few months, James has assisted the 10th AAMDC's Headquarters and Headquarters Battery tremendously. He played a vital role in unit movement operations prior to execution of Juniper Cobra 16 by blocking and bracing vehicles and assisting with equipment loading with minimal supervision. While at JC16 James held a vital battle crew position, battle tracking and providing early warning to the combined Tactical Operations Center.
In addition to his direct contribution to the mission, James also exemplified selfless service by volunteering to conduct remedial Physical Training for his peers. Furthermore, his highly driven personality has a direct impact on his unit, which manifests in his section's high esprit de corps and motivation.
Spc. Christopher James' demonstrates the Army Values on a continuous basis and can always be relied upon to accomplish any mission given to him. He is the prime example of a Soldier and a European Defender. Congratulations!
