BAGHDAD - Lt. Col. Christopher Beckert (foreground), a native of Madison, Conn., deputy commanding officer, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad sits alongside tribal and religious leaders at a meeting Feb. 10 at Iraqi Forward Operating Base Hawk.  Following the meeting the leaders attended the MND-B Transfer of Authority Ceremony at Camp Liberty.

BAGHDAD - Col. Joseph Martin (center), a native of Dearborn, Mich., commander, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad stands among tribal and religious leaders from northwest Baghdad following a meeting at Iraqi Forward Operating Base Hawk Feb. 10.  During the meeting the leaders discussed the recent provincial elections as well as ways to further improve upon security and essential services in the area.
