Fort Bragg NCO Re-enlists on mortar range

Sgt. Louis Adams, right, of Hartford, Ind. is reenlisted by his commander, Capt. Brad McCoy, Jan. 28 while a mortar team fires a live round for each of the five years of Adams' reenlistment. Adams served as the medic for the Mortar Platoon of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, during the unit's deployment to Afghanistan and wanted to involve the platoon in his reenlistment ceremony.
