The OPM-SANG mission is to manage the Modernization Program of the Saudi Arabian National Guard under the terms of a memoranda of understanding between the U.S. Government and the Saudi Arabian government. To do this, OPM-SANG uses military and civilian teams assigned to Saudi Arabia to provide advice and assistance in the modernization, encompassing training, equipment, maintenance, supply, procurement, management, organization, health care and facilities.OPM-SANG is a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command.
