ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL, Illinois -- The Army's top enlisted Soldier in personnel came here to brief U.S. Army Sustainment Command Soldiers the morning of Feb. 17 in the Wheeler Conference Room, building 350. Sgt. Maj. Derek Johnson, deputy chief of staff, personnel sergeant major, Headquarters, Department of the Army, Pentagon, covered such topics as the Army's No. 1 priority -- readiness, and the ongoing drawdown of troop strength. Johnson joined the Army in 1989.
