REDSTONE ARSENAL, Alabama -- The head of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's information management office has retired.

Col. Harold "Harry" Xenitelis, USASMDC/ARSTRAT deputy chief of staff, G-6, retired at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters Feb. 16.

During the ceremony he received the Legion of Merit, an American flag, the Noble Patron of Space award, certificates of appreciation, a three-star note, and a retirement certificate and pin.

Xenitelis retires with 30 years of military service.
