USAG Yongsan -- Thanks to the wide availability of the internet through different electronic devices, it now easier to get information or news about anything at any time, to include USAG Yongsan. The garrison primarily uses seven methods to communicate with the public: the USAG Yongsan mobile application, the marquees, the USAG Yongsan website, Facebook, the Morning Calm newspaper, Flickr and Youtube. Each method has its own strength regarding visual aids and speed of information delivery.

The Yongsan mobile application can be found easily in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store by simply searching "USAG Yongsan." The Yongsan app contains useful information including bus schedules, and the USAG phonebook. The design is very straightforward and user-friendly. Users can receive emergency, or push, notifications for important issues such as gate closures, weather, and safety concerns. The app is the first line of communication for critical information.

The garrison Facebook page showcases information and photos of the garrison's most recent events. It is strongly recommended for viewers who are looking for fast updates. For instance, in situations of an emergency, the Facebook page is immediately updated with new information related to the emergency. The posts explain brief but important information regarding these events.

The Morning Calm newspaper contains various articles from the garrisons across the Peninsula, to include Red Cloud, Yongsan, K16, Humphreys, and Daegu. The newspaper covers key events but also includes features highlighting Korean cultural hot spots. The bi-weekly publication offers readers information about upcoming activities and command information.

The USAG Yongsan website highlights both details and useful garrison facts. It introduces garrison command team members, such as the garrison commander and command Sgt. Major with biographical information. The website also contains a phonebook, garrison service listings, up-to-date articles from the local area, and much more. It is highly recommended to explore the website for any garrison information and policies applicable to the local area.

The USAG Yongsan Public Affairs Office is the official conduit for community information. Our emergency information is command directed and should be considered your first source of information regarding garrison happenings. Garrison directorates, tenant units, community organizations and personnel with information to share with the community should contact the PAO office at usarmy.yongsan.imcom-pacific.list.usag-yongsan-pao-sec@mail.mil
