"Who you see here today are convoy commanders who are preparing for a live fire exercise," stated Col. Jason Affolder, commander, 210th BSB.

Affolder continued to say the training received this week will increase their ability to complete their missions safely.

"When we are out on the roads delivering supplies we are vulnerable," explained Affolder. "Ensuring my Soldiers understand all the tools available to them is important to our mission success."

While the battalion is not scheduled to deploy in the near future, it remains every leaders responsibility to prepare their Soldiers to fight and win this nations wars at a moments notice.
