During a Jan. 14, 2016, ceremony at Fort Bragg, N.C., U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) announced the Active Army and Reserve Component winners of FORSCOM's Fiscal Year 2016 Career Counselor of the Year Competition. Sgt. 1st Class Jason Speer, representing XVIII Airborne Corps, was named the Reserve Component winner and Staff Sgt. Derrick Sullivan, representing III Corps, took top honors in the Active Army category. ‪Command Sergeant Major Scott C. Schroeder, FORSCOM's senior enlisted Soldier and Maj. Gen. Jimmie Jaye Wells, FORSCOM Chief Staff, congratulated the winners on their accomplishment.
