The 21st Theater Sustainment Command is U.S. Army Europe's lead organization for all sustainment activities including logistics support, transportation, combat sustainment, human resources, finance, contracting and other areas in the field of sustainment. The 21st TSC also serves as the responsible headquarters for USAREUR's military police, medical and sustainment brigades, providing combat engineers and military police to partnership training and other operations in support of USAREUR, U.S. Africa Command and U.S. Central Command.

The 21st TSC is a NATO ready, theater responsive, Soldier-focused, cohesive team providing scalable mission command and sustainment capabilities to combatant commanders and regionally aligned forces in an increasingly complex environment. Throughout 2015, the 21st TSC played a vital role in exercises and contingencies across the region, supporting today's warfighter in all aspects of sustainment and logistics.

Exercises such as Sabre Junction 15, NATO's Trident Juncture 15, Rapid Trident and the Dragoon Ride provided Soldiers the opportunity to train and work with regional allies and partners in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve and USAREUR's "Strong Europe" campaign. The transport of European Activity Set equipment by 21st TSC teams during 2015 enables more efficient employment of regionally-allocated forces across the USAREUR footprint, allowing Army Soldiers to train on mission essential tasks and to sustain mission readiness.

The Soldier teams of the 21st TSC are 'First in Support' and play a critical role in all Army activities in Europe.
