Soldiers from U.S. Army Special Operations Command honored their legacy, and those who currently serve or have served our Nation, with participation in the 15th annual Fayetteville, N.C., Veteran's Day parade, Saturday, Nov. 7.

Thousands of supporters lined the streets of historic downtown Fayetteville, despite the threat of rain, to honor veterans from all over the Fayetteville region.

USASOC's Color Guard led the precession representing subordinate units from the command, while Soldiers from 1st Special Forces Command passed out candy to parade goers along the route.

USASOC had several tactical vehicles in the parade, including a Military Information Support Operations Ground Mobility Vehicle that broadcasted the following message in Spanish, French, Arabic and Indo: "On Behalf of the United States Army Special Operations Command, we thank you for your continued support to America's troops."

USASOC's commanding general, Lt. Gen. Kenneth E. Tovo, and his wife viewed the parade from the reviewing stand, alongside other military and community dignitaries. The theme for this year's parade was "Honoring Women who Served our Nation."
