FORT HOOD, Texas - Acting Under Secretary of the Army Eric Fanning spent time with the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division and the 215th Brigade Support Battalion here Tuesday.
He stopped by to watch Soldiers operate their fighting vehicles during a live-fire exercise and to learn how units order the parts needed to keep those vehicles operating safely on the range.
Soldiers had the opportunity to meet Fanning and brief him on their roles, and how they perform their particular duties.
