WATERVLIET ARSENAL, N.Y. (Sept. 3, 2015) -- A gathering of key stories and photos that capture some of the action at the Army's manufacturing center at Watervliet, New York for the month of August 2015. The Arsenal has been in continuous operation supporting our troops since the War of 1812. Lead Story: The lead story is about the great public-private partnership with a company called Electralloy. Electralloy has made a significant investment to improve the Arsenal's rotary forge operation and was just certified by the American Bureau of Shipping to produce stainless steel forgings for marine applications.
