Secretary of the Army Hon. John M. McHugh visited with Soldiers at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia August 24, 2015. McHugh had lunch with the Soldiers and toured the 1-7 Air Defense Artillery Battalion site. 1-7 ADA operates Patriot Missile Systems to support and defend U.S. Forces and Coalition assets from aerial threats. The forward-deployed Soldiers are assigned to the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, Fort Bragg, N.C.
