AMC announces top employees to receive Dellamonica awards

REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- U.S. Army Materiel Command announced ten top employees from across the organization to receive the Louis Dellamonica Award for Outstanding Personnel of the Year.

Annually, military and civilians under the General Officer and Senior Executive Service rank are considered for the award from AMC's 63,000 employees dispersed throughout all 50 states and 144 countries.

Nominees are judged on how their initiatives measurably improve their work environment and AMC's mission, how they motivate and inspire fellow employees to improve or increase the quality of their own work, and how well they are viewed by peers, subordinates and supervisors.

The award is presented in honor of Louis Dellamonica, a general engineer who worked at the Hawthorne Army Depot for 65 years.

The 2014 awardees are:

- Anthony L. Burdell, U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command

- David R. Payne, U.S. Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity

- Bryan C. McGann, U.S. Army Contracting Command

- Katherine J. Kiss, U.S. Army Materiel Command

- Martin T. Utzig, U.S Army Sustainment Command

- Joseph E. Schulz, U.S Army Sustainment Command

- Brian C. Rawhouser, U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command

- Jeannette M. Watson, U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command

- Tracie W. Few, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command

- Song J. Park, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command
