DETROIT ARSENAL, Mich. (Aug. 10, 2015) -- Military leaders and engineers met for the 2015 Ground Vehicle Systems Engineering and Technology Symposium, or GVSETS and the Advanced Planning Briefings for Industry, or ABPI, Aug. 4-6.

The GVSETS and APBI are the National Defense Industrial Association Michigan Chapter's key industry-government-academia events, which brought together nearly 1,000 executives, program managers, engineers and other key decision-makers to discuss initiatives, programs, plans and technologies in the ground vehicle domain for both manned and unmanned systems.

Attendees included: Gen. David Perkins, Commanding General, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command; Dr. Paul Rogers, Director, TARDEC; Brig. Gen. David Bassett, Program Executive Officer, Ground Combat Systems; Scott Davis, Program Executive Officer, Combat Support and Combat Service Support; and Brig. Gen. Mike Stone, Assistant Adjutant General-Installations, Michigan National Guard.
