ARLINGTON, Va. (July 16, 2015) -- Adm. Katsutoshi Kawano, Japan Chief of Staff of the Joint Staff Council, participated in an Armed Forces Full Honors Wreath Laying Ceremony with Maj. Gen. Bradley A. Becker, Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region/U.S. Army Military District of Washington commanding general, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
Following the wreath laying ceremony, Kawano met with U.S. Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to discuss matter of mutual interest between the two nations, during a defense chief's strategy dialogue at Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, D.C.
