TAPA, Estonia (June 24) -- More than 120 Soldiers from Army Europe's 902nd Engineer Company are on site at a training area, here, working on constructing buildings, a tank trail, and light demo range, in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.

The company, which belongs to the 15th Eng. Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, has been on site since the end of May, and will remain in Estonia through August.

Once completed, the projects will enhance training at the individual, and unit level for Operation Atlantic Resolve, the demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the region, in light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine.

U.S. Army Europe's Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer, who is providing quality assurance and control of the projects in Estonia, provides Army engineer expertise to Army Europe commanders, staff, units and sister services, and synchronizes engineer effort across the theater in order to fulfill requirements of the USAREUR campaign plan.

Engineers provide engineer staff estimates; coordinate theater engineer assets; exercises troop construction; establishes Forward Operating Site, or FOS, Bases and FOS facility standards; and coordinates environment, and real estate agreement requirements.
