Personal fireworks will ONLY be allowed at Dugway on 4 July 2015 at the field south of the Post Chapel between the hours of 2000-2300 (8pm-10pm).

The following requirements must be followed for fireworks use:

* A bucket must be available to fill with water to douse spent fireworks

* All fireworks debris shall be cleaned up by the user and rendered safe prior to disposal

* Only Utah State legal fireworks are authorized to be used

While fireworks are a tradition during 4th of July celebrations, they can also be dangerous if safety standards are not followed. With a little diligence, we can all enjoy the beauty and fun of celebrating our independence with fireworks.

Before leaving your home to set off fireworks, record the number of the local fire department and health clinic in your cell phone or on a piece of paper in case of emergency.
