A gathering of key stories and photos that capture some of the action at the Army's manufacturing center at Watervliet, New York for the month of May 2015.

Lead Story: Although the Watervliet Arsenal participates in more than 60 community events every year, the month of May has in recent years become its busiest month of the year. This month was no exception. The Arsenal participated in nine community events in May and so, that is the flavor for this month's newsletter:

Today's Arsenal is relied upon by U.S. and foreign militaries to produce the most advanced, high-tech, high-powered weaponry for cannon, howitzer, and mortar systems. This National Historic Registered Landmark has an annual economic benefit to the local community in excess of $90 million, and its 2014 revenue was about $117 million.
