Europe Regional Medical Command commanding general Brig. Gen. Van Coots joined French Deputy Surgeon General Maj. Gen. Patrick Godart to lay a wreath at the grave of the Marquis de Lafayette in Paris. Lafayette is considered one of the heroes of the American Revolution for his assistance to the U.S. Coots participated in the ceremony during his attendance at Patient Care Pathways Seminar, where he presented information on the U.S. Warrior Transition System.
