All eyes were on Delta Battery, 5-7 Air Defense Artillery when the unit hosted a crowd of both U.S. and Polish military and media entities who were eager to tour the emplaced Patriot Missile tactical site at a Polish airbase outside of Warsaw, Poland on March 21.

The Delta Battery Soldiers demonstrated crew proficiency, as Staff Sgt. Lashedrick Richard and Sgt. Eric Terlau, of Launcher Platoon, put on a show for the whole world to see. Richard stated after his crew drill, ''It was an honor to have been chosen to demonstrate proficiency on our weapon system, for my unit".

The rest of the Battery played a big role too. The operators for each piece of equipment stood by as eager reporters swarmed to gather information. Those operators were able to explain their role in the battery, and what their weapon system does. For the unit, who convoyed over 1200 kilometers to reach the Sochaczew airbase, it was a great opportunity to prove in front of cameras why they were selected for this display of readiness.

As for the overall theme of this mission, Col. Greg Brady, commander of 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command, said, "The reason we are here is simple, teamwork. This is a magnificent opportunity to come together with our Polish allies and demonstrate what we bring to the table in the event that we are called to fight alongside one another."

For the Soldiers of Delta battery, this was a chance to show their competence. Terlau says, ''it validates our team's readiness to go when and where the U.S. and our allies need us''.
