Range sustainment pros rake in three of five awards

GRAFENWOEHR, Germany - The United States Army Europe's Sustainable Range Program took three out of five awards for informative materials at the Integrated Training Area Management Conference, held Aug. 6-11 in Manhattan, Kan.<br/><br/>Sustainable Range Awareness Recognition awards were presented to USAREUR for first place in the Soldier Field Card category, first place in Multimedia products, and the 2006 Innovation Award.<br/><br/>The winning Soldier field card is used by Soldiers at JMRC in Hohenfels, Germany, for safety and environmental information, maps and contact numbers.<br/><br/>Multimedia products, such as the web-based ITAM Mapper, were cited for originality, creativity, and innovation, leading to the first-place win and the 2006 Innovation Award. The SRP multimedia products available for training can be retrieved and ordered from the SRP website at https://srp.usareur.army.mil/.<br/><br/>"With 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment's arrival, and unfamiliarity with the local training areas, it is extremely important to inform Soldiers that mapping resources and information materials are available to enhance their training experience," said Jeff Andrews, the SRP ITAM Operations Coordinator.<br/><br/>The USAREUR Sustainable Range Program is managed by the Joint Multinational Training Center's Training Support Activity Europe in Grafenwoehr, Germany. The TSAE mission is to identify, acquire, manage, and sustain training resources required to support all echelons of training and provide state-of-the-art training support throughout USAREUR's area of responsibility. The organization also manages visual information, training documentation, and official DA photos.<br/><br/>TSAE is geographically dispersed with its headquarters and branches located at Grafenwoehr and a production facility at Roedelheim, Germany.
