2d CR, Polish Land Forces conduct situational exercises

U.S. Soldiers assigned to Killer Troop, 3rd Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment, conduct a combine situational exercises with the Polish land forces as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve in Drawsko Pomorskie training area, Poland, Feb. 6, 2015.

Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the region, in light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine.

Army Europe is leading the Operation Atlantic Resolve enhanced land force multinational training and security cooperation activities taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to ensure multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.

In light of Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine, Operation Atlantic Resolve is a visible demonstration of U.S. commitment to the security of NATO allies. In meeting our global security commitments, the United States must have strong, committed and capable allies, which is why we have fought, exercised and trained with our European allies for the past 70 years.
