WASHINGTON, (Feb. 10, 2015) -- Lt. Gen. James C. McConville, deputy chief of staff, Army G-1, visited with Maj. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan, commander of Joint Force Headquarters-National Capital Region/ U.S. Army Military District of Washington and his staff at Fort Lesley J. McNair to discuss topics Army personnel readiness.
McConville serves as the principal military advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Manpower and Reserve Affairs). He ensures the readiness and well-being of the Army through the development and integration of policies and programs for all three components of the Army; Active, Reserve and National Guard.
