USAG Ansbach celebrates 105 years of chaplain assistant MOS

ANSBACH, Germany (Dec. 16, 2014) -- The USAG Ansbach Religious Support Office sponsored a community celebration honoring 105 years of the military occupational specialty of the chaplain assistant Thursday at the Urlas Post Exchange.

Chaplains and chaplain Assistants from USAG Ansbach and the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade joined together for the anniversary.

Sgt. Lori Price, chaplain assistant for USAG Ansbach, shared the history and significance of the chaplain assistant with the assembled crowd, noting the invaluable, specialized role that the chaplain assistant plays in the Unit Ministry Team.

More than 100 community members joined the chaplain assistants. Community members ate cake and many of them thanked the chaplain assistants present for their support and contributions to the USAG Ansbach and 12th CAB community.
