New York Giant Steve Weatherford Visits Children at Picatinny Arsenal

PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. -- Steve Weatherford, punter for the New York Giants visited Picatinny Arsenal and spoke with children at the installation's Child Development Center, Dec. 9.

Weatherford teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club of America and serves as the Health and Fitness Ambassador within the Garden State, a title he earned in 2013. He serves as a role model, mentor, and fitness and nutrition coach to more than 80,000 kids throughout New Jersey.

Weatherford spoke to the children about proper health, fitness, nutrition and sticking to their dreams and aspiration before he put them through a mini-exercise class.

The Super Bowl champion passed around his championship ring for the children to take a closer look. Weatherford also signed autographs, took pictures, and handed out New York Giants hats.
