GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Dec. 2, 2014) --German navy Cmdr. Andreas Hildenbrand, professor with the College of International and Security Studies at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, gives a mission brief in the plenary to 31 students from the Bundeswehr First Aid Academy, Nov. 25 here. Hildenbrand discussed how the climate change can affect the world and becomes a crisis in the future. These officers are part of a group of more than 500 local nationals who have visited the Marshall Center for tours and to learn how the German-American partnership builds an international network. The mission of the Marshall Center is to create a more stable security environment by advancing democratic institutions and relationships, especially in the field of defense; promoting active, peaceful security cooperation; and enhancing enduring partnerships throughout the world.
