FORT LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - The Combined Arms Center (CAC) will hold an industry forum to discuss how to prepare the Army of 2025 and Beyond, and seek assistance from industry's senior leaders in creating tough, realistic training.

The forum will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2015 at the Frontier Conference Center, 350 Biddle Blvd., Fort Leavenworth.

To build the Force of 2025 and Beyond, the Army is looking for innovative ways to use current and future technologies to enable training that replicates today's complex operational environment and prepares units to win in a complex world.

Two keynote speakers will address the Army's future training efforts.

Lt. Gen. Robert B. Brown, Commander of the Combined Arms Center, will talk about executing realistic training in support of the Human Dimension Concept. Realistic training replicates the physical, social, and cultural aspects of combat and integrates ambiguous problems requiring innovative solutions.

Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, Director of the Army Capabilities and Integration Center, will discuss the Army of 2025 and Beyond. Force 2025 will require land power concepts and capabilities for the Joint Force as integrated and innovative solutions within Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF).

Their speeches will be followed by two senior leader panels discussing:

•The complex operational environment, Force 2025 and Beyond, and desired realistic training.

•The evolution of training toward one live-synthetic training environment and the Army's modernization challenges in enabling realistic training today.

These topics were discussed at similar engagements at an Association of the United States Army convention and the Inter-Service/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference.
