FORT BENNING, Ga., (Oct. 1, 2014) -- Start your holiday shopping a little early this year during the Community Spouses' Club's Benning Harvest Bazaar. The bazaar will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 19 at McGinnis-Wickam Hall, Building 4.
Betsy Vial, event chair, said CSC hosts the event each year and invites the public to shop or participate as vendors.
"This is a fundraising event that benefits CSC's Welfare Fund, which supports military Families through scholarships and grants," Vial said. "This is an ideal place for people who want to start Christmas shopping."
Vendors for this year's bazaar will offer a variety of arts and crafts, kitchen and household products, makeup, jewelry, edible treats and more. Vial said vendors who make homemade items are welcome to be a part of the bazaar.
Applications for vendors will be accepted through Oct. 15. The $50 early bird rate for vendor booths is available through Oct. 8, and increases to $75 after the deadline. Applications and the full list of vendors are available on the CSC website at www.fortbenningcsc.org under the Events tab.
