The Intelligence Electronics Warfare and Sensor program executive officer visited the Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, to congratulate the contracting team on a job well done.

Stephen D. Kreider visited the ACC-APG Division C Aerostat Contracting Team Sept. 26 to personally thank team members for their work on two end-of-fiscal-year contract awards. The contract awards were for the procurement of spare parts for the Persistent Threat Detection System and sustainment support for field service representatives for the Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar system.

"ACC-APG Division C has made a concerted effort to focus on the customer for fiscal year 2014 and beyond. PEO IEW&S has obviously noticed our efforts by being here today. Division C customer satisfaction ratings have increased by 167 percent in fiscal 2014 and that's just a start," said Gregory Davies, chief, ACC-APG Division C.

Kreider said the deployed systems "are on duty every day and they are saving lives every day, so you should be justifiably proud of your role in awarding contracts for our national security and in support of our warfighters."

Both systems are currently deployed and are supporting troops in Afghanistan, Kreider said. During his visit, he presented PEO IEW&S command coins to team members.
