VILSECK, Germany- Cadet 1st Lt. Leisser (Bryan) Barrera-Gutierrez shows Albert Enciso the proper way to fold the American flag on Sept. 18, at Vilseck Elementary School.
Representatives from the Vilseck High School Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps and VES, held a workshop with the VES Student Flag Committee.
The JROTC cadets demonstrated to the younger students the proper way to show respect when raising and taking down the flags and the correct way to fold the American and German flags.
The VES Student Flag Committee is comprised of fourth and fifth-grade students who have committed to making sure the American and German flags, as well as the VES flag, are flying proudly every day.
