Brigade run boosts morale

Their voices are heard loud and strong in the distance. The Soldiers of the 1st Air Cavalry "Warrior" Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, roar cadences as they return from an early morning unit run at West Fort Hood, Texas, Oct. 9. Before the run, Col. Douglas Gabram, commander of the Warriors, talked to his troopers about the importance of safety, taking care of one another and spending time with family.

Even before the sun peaks over the horizon, the troopers of the 1st Air Cavalry "Warrior" Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, head out on a unit run at West Fort Hood, Texas, to boost morale before their four-day weekend, Oct 9.  Colonel Douglas Gabram, commander of the Warriors, said the overall message for the holiday weekend was safety, taking care of one another and the importance of family.
