SAN ANTONIO (July 9, 2014) -- The U.S. Army Installation Management Command, in collaboration with the Rising Tide Sports & Entertainment Group, will present "Quest for the Best: The Armed Forces Trivia Challenge" July 19, 2014, in the Fort Sam Houston Theater on Joint Base San Antonio.
"Quest For The Best: The Armed Forces Trivia Challenge" is a 90-minute interactive game show experience designed to involve the entire audience, who will be competing for the chance to win the game and claim the grand prize. The game will consist of five rounds played by the entire audience, with the top five players advancing to a final round where an overall winner will be crowned "The Best" and win grand prizes donated by sponsors.
"This event will be the first of its kind for MWR," said Josh Gwinn, Chief of the Community Recreation Division, which oversees the Army Entertainment office for IMCOM "We see this event as a way to provide a really fun and unique entertainment experience for our Soldiers and families at no cost to the Army."
"Quest For The Best: The Armed Forces Trivia Challenge" will be hosted by television and film personality Bruce Campbell, who is best known for his roles in "The Evil Dead" and USA Network's "Burn Notice."
"We are grateful for those that serve in our Armed Forces and created this interactive live event experience specifically to salute, celebrate, and entertain the men and women that serve our nation," said Steve Sellery, CEO of Rising Tide Sports & Entertainment Group.
