Denise M. Marrama, Army Contracting Command-New Jersey attorney-advisor, received the Army Materiel Command's Vincent J. Faggioli Achievement Award May 23 during AMC's Continuing Legal Education Program held at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

"It is an honor to be acknowledged by the AMC Command Counsel and nominated by the ARDEC (Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center) Legal Office for this award," Marrama said. "I have spent my entire legal career in AMC and would not go anywhere else."

According to the award citation, Marrama was recognized for her legal work and support to AMC headquarters in multiple Government Accountability Office, Small Business Administration and Court of Federal Claims protests. Of note were her efforts in successfully defending the GAO protest regarding the Kuwait Energy Efficiency Project acquisition.

The citation reads her legal acumen and support was essential in the dismissal of the protest and getting critical shelters to the warfighters in Kuwait.

"Ms. Marrama's hard work and dedication is a great asset to ACC-NJ's customers and contracting workforce," said Paul Milenkowic, ACC-NJ acting executive director. "She is an example of all the outstanding attorneys who support ACC-NJ."
